Employment Opportunities

Applying for Jobs with the City of Irwindale

The City of Irwindale has implemented a new online hiring system called NEOGOV! This system allows internal and external applicants to create a user account, apply for positions online, and check the status of their candidacy.

As with any new system, there is a need to adjust the existing processes. Please be sure to make note of the following procedural changes for internal candidates:

  • To view a list of current vacancies available please go to "Employment Opportunities".
  • If you are interested in applying for a vacant position, you must complete an online application. We suggest you familiarize yourself with the online application process by reading the "Online Application Guide". This guide is available when you click on "Apply" from any vacant position. The online application process allows you the opportunity to attach electronic documents (i.e. resume, certifications) that you would like the hiring department to take into consideration when reviewing your application.
  • Once you create your application in the online hiring system, you have the ability to check the status of your application, update information, and apply for other positions of interest as they become available.

Please feel free to contact Human Resources at (626) 430-2200 should you have any questions or need assistance.
