Things Are About To Get Fuzzy!

No Shave November 2019 (1).png

It’s time for us to reject our razors, cast aside our clippers, skip the scissors and let our facial hair grow!

The Irwindale Police Department will be sporting a different look beginning today, November 1st, as we once again participate in “No-Shave November”.

The goal of "No-Shave November" is to grow awareness for cancer and men's health issues by embracing hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free!

For a small donation, male Irwindale police officers and staff members can grow a moustache, goatee, or beard to wear throughout the month. Female police officers and employees may participate by wearing a flower arrangement or large bow in their hair.

The facial hair for the men and hair arrangement for the ladies are intended to stimulate conversations with the community about men’s health issues and to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

The public can support our efforts by making a donation directly to our “No-Shave November” Team Page at:

All donations raised during our “No-Shave November” efforts will go to support cancer and/or men’s health related issues and to the “No-Shave November” organization, a 501(c)(3) charity.

We thank you for your support!
