Our Detectives are Looking for a Fatal Hit & Run Vehicle!


21-01458 -FATAL HR VEHICLE (PUBLIC)Our Detectives are currently looking for a light grey Ford F-150 Raptor pick-up truck that was possibly involved in fatal hit & run traffic collision, similar to the one shown in the attached flyer. The vehicle may have damage on the front and right side of the vehicle.
On Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at about 5:28 A.M., Irwindale police officers responded to the report of a pedestrian down in the northbound traffic lanes of Irwindale Avenue at the 210 freeway overpass. Officers located a non-responsive male adult laying in the middle of the northbound lanes of Irwindale Avenue, just south of the on-ramp to the eastbound 210 freeway.  The male was transported to a local trauma center by ambulance, where he later succumbed to his injuries.   
Based on witness statements and evidence located during the investigation, it appears the victim was stuck by a vehicle going northbound on Irwindale Avenue, which fled the scene after the collision.
