Please visit the City Clerk at the City of Irwindale City Hall at 5050 N. Irwindale Ave, Irwindale, CA 91706. City Hall is open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

No permit is required with Building & Safety if the fence or brick wall is less than 6 feet in height and not a retaining wall; however, the planning department will still need to review and approve fences or brick walls no matter the size. A permit is required for retaining walls that retain over 4 feet in height measured from the bottom of the footing to the top of the wall unless supporting a surcharge or impounding a Class I, II, or III-A liquids.Building & Safety
