Passport Acceptance Facility

The Irwindale Public Library is excited to announce that it is now a designated Passport Acceptance Facility! Interested individuals can schedule an appointment to visit the Irwindale Passport Acceptance Facility located at 16053 Calle de Paseo, Irwindale, CA 91706

Passport Services is unable to process cash, credit, or debit card payments. All payments must be made with check or money order made payable to the Department of State.

The Irwindale Public Library is unable to process credit or debit card payments. All payments must be made with cash, check or money order made payable to the City of Irwindale.


What Do I Need to Do?

Each applicant is required to:

  1. Complete the application form but do not sign the application until instructed to do so by the acceptance agent:

  2. Appear personally.
  3. Present current valid identification (driver's license or State ID card)
  4. Submit proof of United States Citizenship (original birth certificate, certified copy of birth certificate or original naturalization certificate).
  5. Bring in one passport photo (or pay the $15 fee for the Irwindale Public Library to take the photo).
  6. Pay the required fees.

It takes approximately 6 weeks to receive the passport from the Department of State Passport Agency.
